DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nBonalu is the official State Festival of Telangana and is dedicated to Goddess Mahakali. The festival is celebrated as an expression of gratitude and devotion to the Mother Goddess for protecting devotees and fulfilling their wishes. Women carry decorated pots called “Bonam” containing cooked rice\, jaggery\, milk\, and neem leaves to offer at temples. \nThe festival features colorful processions\, traditional folk dances\, drum performances\, Pothuraju processions\, and special temple rituals.
