A karimnagar police constable’s Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle was reportedly stolen from outside his residence in Errum Manzil. Following a complaint, karimnagar police registered a case and launched an investigation into the theft. karimnagar: A motorcycle belonging to a police constable was reportedly stolen under the karimnagar police station limits. The constable, who works in the City Security Wing of karimnagar Police and resides at Ramakrishna Nagar in Errum Manzil, had parked his Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle outside his residence around 11:30 pm on May 31. When he checked the next morning at about 9.30 am, the vehicle was missing. After searching for it in all possible places, he approached the police. Following his complaint, karimnagar police registered a case and are investigating.

Farhat’s husband, Azharuddin, told police that his wife and daughters slipped into the pool and drowned. The victims were identified as 26-year-old Farhat and her daughters, Umera (8) and Ayesha (6). What appeared to be a case of accidental drowning changed its course, after a police investigation revealed that it was the woman’s husband, who killed the three. The victims were identified as 26-year-old Farhat and her daughters, Umera and Ayesha, aged 8 and 6 respectively. The family owned a swimming pool near the Warangal-Khammam National Highway, which they would rent out to visitors. It was the family’s main source of income. On Wednesday night, Farhat and her daughters reportedly went near the water along with other family members. A few minutes later, they were found in the pool. Residents and relatives rushed to pull them out and shifted them to MGM Hospital in karimnagar, where doctors declared them dead. Farhat’s husband, Azharuddin, told police that his wife and daughters slipped into the pool and drowned. Woman’s Father Had Accused His Son-In-Law Farhat’s father, Ali, had lodged a complaint with the police, alleging frequent arguments between his daughter and son-in-law over the past few days, mainly over their children and Farhat’s pregnancy. Family members claimed Azharuddin did not want another girl child and had been forcing Farhat to undergo an abortion. “My daughter was under pressure for many days. We do not believe this was an accident,” Farhat’s father told police.

The data shows a sharp rise in financial offences, with the state recording an average of 108 cases per day in 2024. he NCRB data highlights that this figure is much higher than the national average trend of financial crime reporting. Authorities note that a large share of cases involves frauds of smaller financial value. In 2024, the state reported 13,294 cases involving frauds below ₹1 lakh. It also recorded 12,245 cases in the ₹1–10 lakh category. Fraud cases include 1,248 incidents in the ₹10–50 lakh range and 749 cases in the ₹50 lakh–₹1 crore range. High-value fraud cases were fewer but still present. The report shows 170 cases between ₹1 crore and ₹10 crore. It also lists 41 cases in the ₹10–25 crore range, 3 cases in the ₹25–50 crore range, and 2 cases in the ₹50–100 crore bracket. The NCRB further notes a rise in property-related financial offences. Telangana recorded 38,908 cases of cheating, forgery and fraud in 2024 alone, averaging 107 cases per day.

+ A woman was arrested in Hyderabad’s LB Nagar for allegedly strangling her husband, a vegetable vendor, and attempting to stage the death as a suicide. An autopsy confirmed homicide, leading police to register a murder case. Hyderabad: A woman allegedly strangled her husband to death and attempted to portray the murder as a suicide after he reportedly became an obstacle to her extramarital relationship at their house in LB Nagar.According to the police, the victim, Boda Narsing (36), a vegetable vendor, was living with his wife Swarupa and their two daughters in NTR Nagar in LB Nagar. The family originally hails from Tattupalli village in Koravi mandal of Mahabubabad district. Police said Narsing had recently learned about his wife’s alleged extramarital relationship with a man named Mohan, a native of their village. The revelation reportedly led to frequent disputes between the couple.It is believed that Swarupa considered her husband an obstacle to the extra marital relationship and planned to eliminate him. On June 20, after sending her younger daughter out to a nearby shop to purchase coconut, Swarupa allegedly sat on her husband’s chest and strangled him with a dupatta, causing his death. She then tied the same dupatta to a cot in an attempt to make it appear that Narsing had died by suicide. Geographic Reference Following information from local residents, the LB Nagar police reached the spot and took up investigation. First they registered a case of suspicious death, however, the autopsy report from the Osmania General Hospital revealed that the victim had died due to strangulation, confirming it was a homicide. During the probe, police seized the woman’s mobile phone and found that she had contacted her alleged lover shortly after the incident. On questioning, Swarupa reportedly confessed to the crime. The case has since been altered to murder, and the suspect was remanded to judicial custody on Monday. Police said further investigation is on to determine whether any other individuals were involved in the crime.
